The student at the center of the assault case at Adisadel College has been granted bail by the Cape Coast District Court 2.
The court, presided over by His Honor Eric Oheneba Antwi Boasiako, granted bail to the perpetrator, ordering him to return to court on August 2, 2023, because the court lacked the requisite number of jurors for the juvenile case.
The student was detained earlier this week by Cape Coast Police, charged with causing hurt and assault, and then released to the school’s Headmaster to appear in court on Friday.

The arrest followed the release of a video depicting a horrific event in which one student aggressively attacked another in a dormitory.
The authorities are moving quickly to handle the issue and hold the culprit responsible.
Meanwhile, the victim has been recalled to school after being suspended before. The school is taking precautions to guarantee his safety and rehabilitation.
