Kumasi Asante Kotoko has issued a statement in response to their Gameweek 29 match postponing against Ashantigold.
The game was called off when the Ghana Police Service received intelligence indicating that it would be risky for the game to go forward following the revelation of the Ashantigate investigation’s conclusions.
The team said in a Twitter statement that a postponement at this time would be detrimental to the league and could jeopardize the competition’s sports integrity.
They also demanded that the match be played before any other matches and that the GFA reimburse them for their transportation and hotel expenses.
