The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has extended its sponsorship of the Ghana Women’s Premier League with the online global betting and gaming brand Betway.
“We are delighted to announce an extension of our sponsorship with the Ghana Football Association for the Women’s Premier League,” said Betway Country Manager Kwabena Oppong Nkrumah.

Our goal is to help grow our women’s football in Ghana and develop an interest in the game”.
Betway will continue to be recognized as the Official Development Partner for the Women’s Premier League in Ghana as part of the extension.

The developmental assistance will assist us in closing the resource gap between men’s and women’s football.

To continue equipping and upskilling women’s football administrators and coaches, Betway will host a series of leadership, governance, and operational skills training workshops to help them effectively lead themselves and their respective organizations.
This is a continuation of the mentorship and training program that was organized last season.
As part of the sponsorship, Betway will provide training and warm-up kits to all participating teams.
The sponsorship also reinforces the brand’s commitment to the development of sports in Ghana.
