Tanur Savut, a Hatayspor player and club director, has been reported missing, according to Eurofootcom.

Christian Atsu, a former Black Stars winger, is said to be missing after a massive earthquake struck Turkey earlier today.

Some of his teammates have been rescued, but Atsu and Savut have not been found, according to the report.

After a devastating earthquake ripped through Turkey and Syria, leaving destruction and debris on both sides of the border, rescuers are racing to pull survivors from beneath the rubble.

At around 4 a.m. on Monday, one of the strongest earthquakes to hit the region in a century jolted residents from their beds, sending tremors as far away as Lebanon and Israel.

The 7.8-magnitude quake struck 23 kilometers (14.2 miles) east of Nurdagi in Turkey’s Gaziantep province, at a depth of 24.1 kilometers (14.9 miles), according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

Last night, Christian Atsu came off the bench to score the game-winning goal for Hatayspor in the Turkish league.

Hatayaspor defeated Kasimpasa, and the 31-year-old scored his first goal for the club.

Atsu made his third appearance of the season in the 82nd minute, replacing French forward Rayan Aabid.
