Between August 26 and August 28, 2022, the Black Galaxies of Ghana will play Nigeria in the 2023 CHAN qualifiers’ championship match.
The domestic national team advanced to the next round by defeating Benin in the first round.
Ghana is eager to return to the competition where they placed second in the inaugural edition after missing out on the last three CHAN tournaments.
Coach Annor Walker and his team will be put to the test against Nigeria despite their impressive performances in the previous two qualification games.
Nigeria will play Ghana in the final round of the qualifications after receiving a pass in the first round.
The WAFU Zone B qualifying team is listed below:
August 26 to 28, 2022: Ivory Coast-Burkina Faso; Togo-Niger; Ghana-Nigeria
September 2 to 4, 2022: Burkina Faso – Ivory Coast; Niger – Togo; Nigeria – Ghana
