Lasmid Nathaniel Owusu, commonly known as Lasmid, is a gifted rapper and singer-songwriter who just announced that he has made a huge step forward in his career by becoming an independent artist.
On Ayekoo Ayekoo at Accra 100.5 FM on July 27, 2023, he addressed allegations of ingratitude with unflinching poise.
In reaction to criticism, Lasmid stated that he considers it to be a natural part of life, adding that being criticized means that one is doing something significant. He stated unequivocally that he does not consider himself to be an ungrateful person, clearing any misunderstandings about his personality.
Lasmid intimated that he will address the disagreement between him and the sound engineer, music executive, and creator of Highly Spiritual Music, Kaywa, at the appropriate moment.
When asked about his relationship with Highly Spiritual, Lasmid revealed that he had left the label. With a straightforward statement, he stated, “Oh, since the boss has said so, it’s real,” leaving no room for doubt.
After some reluctance, Lasmid acknowledged that he had become an independent artist, taking control of his musical journey and artistic direction.
