President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has finally made some changes to his government, with Adansi Asokwa MP KT Hammond being appointed to the Trade and Industry Ministry to replace Alan Kyerematen.
Bryan Acheampong, MP for Abetifi Constituency, has also been appointed Minister of Food and Agriculture, while Osei Bonsu Amoah, MP for Akwapim South, has been appointed Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government.
Stephen Amoah, MP for Nhyiaeso and former President of MASLOC, has been appointed Deputy Trade Minister.
Mohammed Amin Adam has also been appointed as a Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance.
He takes over for Charles Adu Boahen.
Former Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), Stephen Asamoah-Boateng, is appointed as the new Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs.
Herbert Krapa, a Deputy Trade Minister, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Energy.
