Former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has been named the new Goalkeeper’s Trainer for the rapidly growing Kenpong Football Academy.
The Winneba-based Football Institution has a strong technical bench, led by veteran coaches Francis Oti Akenteng and James Kwasi Appiah. The inclusion of Sammy Adjei, who has enough goalkeeping experience in Ghana, winning the CAF Champions League and representing Ghana at the 2006 World Cup in Germany, is expected to add value and help develop the young goalkeepers around him. Management is optimistic that Kenpong Football Academy will produce amazing goalkeepers for Ghana Football in the coming years, as they have already expressed a strong desire and potential to succeed.
