Students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology who had their courses deferred
can heave a sigh of relief as the deadline for the payment of fees has been extended by a month.
About 6000 students had their courses deferred due to their inability to make a minimum payment of 70
percent of the fees for the academic year.
Management of the university has however agreed to extend the deadline as a result of a meeting held
with the Minister for Education, Hon. Yaw Adutwum and other stakeholders.
Affected students have been urged to make good use of this grace period to settle arrears before the
commencement of the First Semester Examination on the 23rd of May, 2022. Management has also
entreated parents/guardians to assist their wards in complying with the directive.
This is the third time the deadline has been extended, with the second extension being as a result of the
SRC negotiating with management on behalf of the student.
