Unbeaten in their last four games, Mobile Phone People bags another win today as they triumph pass Great Farcos at Marina Park, Ashley Botwe – Lakeside Estate in the Division 2 League (Greater Accra Zone 8).
Great Farcos, the home side, were in the home colors purple and purple hoses while Mobile Phone People donned their third jersey yellow shirts with black shorts and white hoses.
The home side kicked start the game by passing in the first half of the game. Both teams had numerous opportunities to place the ball in the opponent’s nets but failed to utilize these chances. The first half of the game ended in a goalless draw.
The second half of this fixture began with Mobile Phone People kicking the ball from the right to the left side of the pitch.
Humphrey Doh, popularly known as ‘Neymar’ of Mobile Phone People missed a glorious chance in the 47th mins of the game. Both teams possessed the ball and avoided mistakes in order to give the opponent a chance to goal.
In the 50th mins, Great Farcos winger who was in jersey number 9 affectionally known as ‘ Dybala’ also missed a goal-scoring opportunity for his side likewise Felix Padi of Mobile Phone People also did the same as he placed the ball directly into the hands of the goalkeeper in the 55th mins of the game.
5 minutes later, Rockwell Nartey saves Mobile Phone People by providing a fantastic save from a fabulous strike from Dybala. The game was lacking goals and still did in the 70th mins as Neymar missed from close range. Seth and Samuel Mensah also missed opportunities that could have helped Mobile Phone take the lead.
A foul on Latif of Mobile Phone People in the 18-yard box gave his side the chance to take the lead from the penalty spot in the 84th mins of the game. Rockwell Nartey, the unusual spot-kick taker took the ball and place it in the top right corner of the post. The goalkeeper of Great Farcos could not save the ball.
