
Sporting CP, a Portuguese giant, has confirmed the long-term signing of Ghana’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.
The player has been working with the club’s reserve team in recent weeks in preparation for the day when he could be officially granted a contract when he turns 18.
Sporting CP has revealed in a statement that the former Dreams FC player has committed his future to the club by signing a five-year contract with a release clause of 60 million euros.
Fatawu joins the Portuguese champions from Ghanaian second-tier side Steadfast FC in a rumoured 500,000 Euro deal.
Abdul Fatawu helped Ghana to win the African Youth Championship in Mauritania last year, he was crowned the greatest African U20 player.
