Bernard Antwi Boasiako, affectionately known as ‘Wontumi,’ has revealed his ambition to take over the English Premier League team Chelsea.
Roman Abramovich, the owner of the club recently revealed his willingness to listen to proposals and is looking for a deal worth £3 billion. The Russian has been in control of ‘the blues’ since the year 2003 and has overseen 19 major trophies.

Mr. Boasiako confirmed on Wontumi FM that he is willing to buy Chelsea from the Russian.
“I want to buy Chelsea. I am a businessman and I won’t join those who are interested in buying the club. Abramovich has done his part and believes it is about the time he helps a Ghanaian or an African secure the club. “Ghanaians love Chelsea, I am doing that because of them”. Personally, I support Manchester United. £3 billion is not anything, we will go for negotiation. I know I will win if am able to purchase Chelsea”

Wontumi expressed his intention to bring in the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United, Lionel Andres Messi from Paris Saint Germain, and Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid to Chelsea. He said he will offload Romelu Lukaku from the club if he is successful at purchasing.
