
Words could not express the gratitude of the past and current players of Madina Manchester now Mobile Phone People to their coach and CEO Eric Katey.

Eric Katey has natured talents like Abdul Salis Samed of Racing Club de Lens (RC Lens) in France, Solomon Agbesi of Dreams FC, Mohammed Alidu of Legon Cities both in the Ghana Premier League, Humphrey Doh of Mobile Phone People in the Ghana Division 2 League.
Players been grateful to their coach organized a thank you football game between the 2009 squad team of Madina Manchester and the 2011 squad teams which includes Solomon Agbesi and Abdul Salis Samed respectively.

The Madina Number One Park, where both players began their professional careers, was the site of the game.
The 2011 squad team wore a red jersey, while the 2009 squad team wore a purple one. The game kick started with Agbesi’s side having the lion share of possession in the early minutes of the first half which led to a goal through a wonderful strike for Maxwell. As the saying ‘’ no pain no gain’’ Salis and his boys tried to get an equalizer and was denied by the shot stopper Solomon Agbesi who was in post for his side.


The final minutes of the first half saw Kwesi Bakoh of the 2011 squad team hitting the cross bar with a long range shot.
Going down by a goal to nil in the first 45 minutes of the game, Samed and his boys started the second half of the game with high spirits. Both teams missed numerous scoring opportunities.
Toloba of the 2011 squad team finally had the equaliser through a solo effort which saw him gone pass two defensive before his strike to goal.Cooker of the 2011 squad team ultimately scored the game’s winning goal from the penalty spot.
