Ghana international Daniel-Kofi Kyereh has completed a move to German side VfL Osnabrück on a free transfer, marking a fresh chapter in his career after leaving SC Freiburg.
The 30-year-old attacking midfielder spent four years at Freiburg but saw his progress severely disrupted by a long-term injury. His contract with the Bundesliga club expired on June 30, 2026, paving the way for his departure.
Kyereh is now hoping to regain full fitness and rediscover his best form at Osnabrück. The move gives the Ghanaian an opportunity to play regularly and rebuild his career after a difficult period on the sidelines.
His return to competitive football will also be closely followed in Ghana, with the midfielder hoping to revive his international prospects with the Black Stars.
